Merry Ol' England

Welcome to England,

Our flight touched down at approximately 7:35pm local time here just outside of London, the passports were checked and after a long flight (around 6.5 hours) we finally were able to stretch our legs and get out of that shell and our feet on the ground.

Due to the early departure back home (8am) and the late arrival here (6.5 hr flight + 5 hours ahead = 7:35pm) the night was cut a little short.

I'd like to say we tried to get to sleep on time but that would be complete crap as we sat in the basement of our beautiful old creaky mismatching house and played pictionary till... well I came to bed with hopes of a decent awakening in the morning at a decent time, the others (Mel, Claire, Tyler, Wade, Brennan and Jess) are still in the kitchen which is located at the bottom of the house in the "basement" as canadians would see it (or as most people would see it I believe) and I have come to my wonderful single bed at the top of the house on the 4th floor to be exact, brushed my teeth, cuddled into an old Canadian Armed Forces t-shirt that was left in my bag by my D, and squeezed my stuffed cow Lucky tight (my little taste of home) and soon will shut my eyes for the evening and rest till the mornings light.

Because of our late arrival today is a short entry but tomorrow will bring many photos and exciting stories as we will be heading into London to see the sites, shop and get into Canadian trouble I suppose.

So I bid you goodnight, until the next story needs to be told.

Cheers from England,

- Hero
